Plain language about what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Last updated August 2026.
Hummel Art School respects your family's privacy. This page explains what we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what happens when advertising and store tools are added down the road.
When you fill out the suggest-a-class or contact form, we collect the information you give us: your name, email address, the ages or grades you are teaching, your class idea or topic, and any details you share about the support you are looking for. We use this to respond to your message and to plan the classes families ask for.
We use your submission to reply to you, to let you know when a requested course opens, and to understand what families need so we can build the right courses. We do not sell your information. Submissions are tagged so our team can follow up, and we only reach out about Hummel Art School unless you ask us something else.
Right now, this site uses minimal cookies and local storage. The cookie consent banner remembers your preference so it does not show again. As we grow, we may add advertising and analytics tools, such as a Meta advertising pixel, and a future Shopify storefront for books and supplies. Those tools may set their own cookies for tracking and personalization. We will update this page before that happens, and you can decline non-essential cookies at any time.
Form submissions are processed through our customer relationship management platform. Book links may send you to third-party retailers like Amazon, and our instructors' portfolio links go to their personal studio sites. Once you leave Hummel Art School, the privacy practices of those sites apply. Future purchases through Shopify will be subject to that platform's privacy and checkout terms.
Hummel Art School is designed for homeschool families, and a parent or co-op leader is expected to create the account and complete any forms. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will remove it.
You can decline non-essential cookies using the consent banner. You can ask to see, update, or delete the information you gave us at any time by reaching out through the contact form. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
We will update this page as the school and the bookstore grow. If we make material changes, we will note the date below and, where it makes sense, let you know through the email address you gave us.
If you have a question about this policy or want to update or delete your information, reach out through the contact form and we will get back to you.
